Lorna Andrews

Workare is one of the few companies to employ a Specialist Occupational Health Technician – Lorna Andrews who is qualified to diploma level in occupational health, also has her NEBOSH health and safety certificate. Prior to commencing her diploma Lorna was the Workare project administrator on the Airwave research project that the company ran in conjunction with Imperial College, London for the Home Office project. It ran for 3 years, and Lorna oversaw all elements of the day to day running including all technical and screening aspects. We screened 6,000 police staff and officers during that time and produced valuable information for the project. Lorna has recently taken on a business development role and has become more active developing and promoting Workare locally. Outside Workare Lorna is an active member of several charities and women’s business development organisations and has a busy social life.

All the Advisors and Physicians are professionally qualified with extra qualifications in Occupational Health and many years working in the field – both private sector and public. We are proud to be working with Dr Nikki Cordell FFOM and her Affiliate OH Physician team at Cordell Health. Accredited to Fellowship or Membership level of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine they provide clinical supervision and valuable experience and expertise to the Company.
