Workare Ltd have been accredited with SEQOHS – First private company in Wales.

Bridgend based Occupational Health Company Workare Ltd is the first private company in Wales to have gone through and passed the new Quality standard for Occupational Health Companies-SEQOHS.

Lorainne Jenkins Managing Director said “We are absolutely delighted to be the first company in Wales to achieve this accreditation. It was a tough process and all the staff here in Waterton worked really hard.”

SEQOHS or Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service is a set of standards and a process of voluntary accreditation that aims to help to raise the overall standard of care provided by occupational health services, thus helping to make a meaningful difference to the health of people of working age.

“It is so important that Companies needing Occupational Health have some sort of measure to ensure that the service they purchase is of a recognised quality, and this is exactly what SEQOHS does” said Lorainne.” “This is the new quality mark for OH and we are the smallest OH Company in the UK to have achieved this accolade.”

Workare was recently awarded the Welsh Government contract for Occupational Health Nurses and now provides specialist nurses based in Cardiff Llandudno and Aberystwyth. “We were thrilled to be awarded the WG contract and that was before our accreditation” said Lorna Andrews specialist technician  “I think that says something about the quality of our service” she concluded.
